Write a Successful Ad for Database 1 and Database 2
In order for your ad to attract attention it needs to make sense to the reader. When adding information to our database there is a format to follow.
The basic structure of a successful advertisement for our databases is
- Starts with HAVE/WANT
- Price
- Locale
- Description
HAVE/WANT
This tag shows the intent of the advertisement therefore you will start with either the word HAVE or WANT.
The word HAVE is fairly self explanatory, it declares that you ‘have’ or are offering a property or business, for sale or for lease.
The tag WANT is powerful and unique to ICIWorld that is to say this special tag offers you the ability to put the network on alert. Network users will help to source a property that you haven’t been able to find elsewhere. Our Network users will reach out to you if they have a property that matches your description. Be sure to mention whether a property is for sale or for lease.
Price
The next part of the ad is to provide value. You will state a price or a price range. Round off the price to the next decimal point or you might even consider using short forms. For example, if a buyer had a budget of 3,000,000.00 to 4,000,000.00 million dollars to spend you could use the short form 3M-4M.
Locale
You need to exercise some care in this area. You are required by law to not use any information that would identify the property. Therefore do not include addresses or postal codes be very general about a location. On the other hand, be mindful of unique businesses operating in small communities so that you don’t use anything to identify them. You could say things such as an hour outside of Seattle or in the GTA.
Description
The subject box is designed for 160 characters and spaces. After you include have or want and add the price that leaves about 140 characters and spaces for your sizzle see. You need to be brief however, ensure to include the best details.
Important to writing a good ad
After you have entered all the property or business details you should proofread your ad. Make sure that you’ve included the most important features and details. Make any corrections to spelling. If the reader can’t understand your ad then you not likely to get a call.
